The new generation of gamers will hardly be able to distinguish between the virutal, and the physical world, and we got many things to look forward in the future.
Let's see why UE5 is game changing technology
As you all know in the past couple of months the gaming-related topics mostly spin around Unreal Engine 5, and people want to know game-changing things about it - that is why we are here. What is Unreal Engine 5? It is a game-changing future, it is an action shooter engine that has no delay, it is real-time content.
You can get it right now, it is still in early access but you can test it out for yourself! If you don't have the minimum system requirements for this, then we are here to help you ;). In that case, you need to check out Clastr, a cloud gaming platform. We are working on it hard, and we will keep you updated when we launch our first version.
Here are the Unreal Engine 5 minimum system requirements:
System: Desktop, Notebook, or Mac
Operating system: Windows 7 64-bit or Mac OS X 10.9.2 or higher
Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD processor, 2.5 GHz or faster processor
DirectX Version: DirectX 11 or DirectX 12
RAM: 8GB or more
NVIDIA GTX 1080 or AMD RX Vega 64, 8 GB of VM, and 32 GB of RAM. 12-core CPU at 3.4 GHz for 30 frames per second, Nvidia RTX 2080 or AMD Radeon 5700 XT, and 64 GB of RAM are estimated.
The unreal news about the Unreal Engine 5.
In general, Unreal Engine is the fastest-growing skill requirement in real-time 3D graphics. The graphics in Unreal Engine 5 is awesome, and you have to try it out. The most notable thing I liked is the lightning. The details look stunning and more realistic than ever. The question is: If you ever woke up with a VR headset on your head, would you be able to spot the difference between the Unreal Engine 5 world, and the real world? Now, you just might, but being this is an early technology, and will develop in the future, you probably won't. Think about it.
You can download‘The Matrix Awakens: An Unreal Engine 5 Experience’ for free on Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It is made by the Epic games. Here is the video of the revealed Unreal Engine 5 demo running in real-time on Playstation 5:
Nanite is virtualized micro polygon geometry that frees artists to create as much geometric detail as the human eye can see. It means that it has a film quality that comprises hundreds of millions or billions of polygons, and they can be imported directly into UE. There is no quality loss while it is streamed and scaled in real-time.
It is a fully dynamic global illumination solution that lets you create dynamic scenes where indirect lighting adapts on the fly so it could change to direct lighting or geometry. For example when you change the sun's angle at day open an exterior door or turn a flashlight on. Inside the Unreal Editor, you can simply create and edit lights by your wish and you are still going to see final lighting when the game is run on the console.
It makes every object go on to its place. It makes everything look better and simulated. All the objects are where they should be.
World partition is automatic open-world streaming. It automatically divides large maps into a grid, and streams divide into the necessary cells so it could be easier to build and manage all those massive open worlds. For example, the city you see in the demo version:
Niagara - Particle System
As you can see from the title, Niagara is a particle system... Unreal Engine's VFX system was leveraged extensively. The results show Niagara's maturation into a fully production-ready VFX tool. So they could deliver a step-change in the level of realism, detail, and interactivity. Niagara will substitute Cascade Particle System, and will allow for smoother production of particle elements.
MetaHumans are the next generation of digital humans, they look so real that you would think they are from some movie. As one comment on youtube said: "My friend saw this video of Matrix Awakens, and he thought that they just used the movie shots, and called it fake." This just tells how good the new generation of NPCs will be. And yup, we got MetaHuman Creator to thank for.
Unreal Engine 5 release date
You can get early access right now by downloading Epic Games. Here is more about it. You need to download the Epic Games launcher to get started with it.
We can only say that reactions to UE5 have been stunning, and we can only mention a dozen of them on our blog. Many people are trying it out right now so you should try it out too.
